Octuplet Mom Nadya Suleman Launches Website For Donations

Octuplet mom Nadya Suleman has launched a website asking for donations for her family of 14 children.

The site features pictures of the eight newborns, with their names and birth weights, drawings of a rainbow, bottle and pacifier, and has two options to donate.

She is accepting monetary donations payable by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, AmEx and Discover taken) and she also given an address to which one can send goods.

The website also contains a section to leave a comment and the following message:

"We thank you for the love and good wishes sent to us from around the world. The octuplets arrived on 1-26-09. They are all healthy and growing stronger by the day."

Suleman no doubt needs help. She has no income, is $50,000 in debt. She also receives $490 a month in food stamps and receives about $600 in disability payments a month for each of the three of her older six children with disabilities. One has ADHD, one had a speech impediment and one has autism, according to NBC's "Dateline" special.

I don't think people should give her money, but I don't think many people are in a position to judge if she should have her children or not. You're wanting to take them away from her because???? She's not beating them, leaving them in the house alone while she does drugs...unless someone can prove neglect and or abuse, they shouldn't be strong armed away from her just because people don't like what she did. If that was grounds to take kids away from people, not many kids would live with their parents. Let her try---if she fails then at least no one took the children without cause. But if she doesn't fail, then no one jumped the gun and took the kids because they didn't like the situation.

This woman should be subject to a mental examination and charged with parental misconduct or abuse or whatever covers what she has done. Both she and the Doctor (who should lose his license to practice medicine) should face charges.

Under no circumstances should this woman profit from having these children. She should be publicly censured for her misdeeds.

Though she is an unfit mother, her children are innocent of any wrong doing. They should be found homes with loving and RESPONSIBLE and FINANCIALLY STABLE adults who can give them the love and attention that this woman on her best days will never be able to. Even with round the clock nannies.

On a serious note, this is one big scam. She did what she had to do and will exploit the feelings and emotions of well wishing people to the farthest and most profitable financial gain. She is no different from Madoff. The kids should be taken by the state and raised up in a childrens home. There is no way a mentally unstable woman is going to take care of 14 babies all less than 3 years. Even a sane one will find it most difficult.

As angry as I am these kids do need our help the innocent victims.

Please, do yourself and your babies a favor go to therapy you are in need of it and are going to need it. Something is missing in your life and babies will not fill that void. They are here for you to give to them they depend on you. You don't have babies hoping to get something out of it return. Most children give parents hell at some point and don't understand what they did to their parents until they are parents.

I hope you and your family find some peace,but you opened front door to America and know will be under the microscope for a long time.

I also feel the medical board should hold the MD financially responsible for supporting the kids. . He was just as irresponsible as you. However you should not oversee your children's finances either, you had no job living off the system and paid for expensive procedures to conceive children with money to provide for the children you already had.

I totally agree with everyone. There is no right with her to be trying to get charity from the public. She's a single mother that is already living off of food stamps. The government is already helping her support her irresponsibility. Why should the public have to support it too?! She shouldn't be having all these children if she can't support them. There's no point. Even her mother agrees! Why would she seriously want to have more children when she already has six and is having a hard time supporting even THEM! I just think its ridiculous that she thinks that she can get away with this.

We are paying for her food stamps that she is recieving now.. So we are paying!! So don't think you are not!! And I think she will keep her kids!! Someone already offered her some help. So shame on you again!! Where is GOD in your lifes? Come on get over the fact that she can not afford them because she has, and no matter how she is and was doing it SHE WAS DOING IT! And I work and own my own house and pay taxes and I am still willing to help her.. People are stingy,nasty and rude, as you can see from the comments..GOD BLESS NADYA & CHILDREN

She is not the only one having babies they can't afford but since she had more than one and is in the light we think that they kids should be tooken? Come on!!! I have 2 kids and if I were to have 10 more that I can't afford there is help!!! At least we know that she needs it. There is alot of people recieving help that they do not need!

Well they can't be "tooken" because that is not a word. And yes, they should be TAKEN because of her irresponsible reproductive behavior. You don't seem to get why everyone is mad. She already had 6 kids - 6!!!!!! She is scamming government programs: workers comp, disability, food stamps, and student loans to get by because she has no real means of employment. Now with the SIX freaking kids she's already unable to handle she saves money (not put toward the lives she already created), but to create more lives that she can't afford. We all know what happens to welfare queens, they keep having kids and never get off the system leaving the rest of us to pay for their nonsense and OctoMom has the balls to set up a website and accept donations. Puh-lease... ridiculous.

God I wish they leave Nadya alone!!! She will do just fine if she recieves the help the babies need. I think that the lawyer and the other doctor should mind there busniess. She has done nothing wrong yet. I do not see them taking away women who have plenty of kids and are on social service. They need to leave her alone. If she got the help that others get she be a great mom. But because of everones opinions the babies are in big trouble. Good luck to the nadya family.

Receive help from whom? Sure there are women with lots of kids who get assistance, but how many of them set up websites begging for money? You don't get it Brenda34. She had 6 already, was getting assistance for them, but she still could not make it on her own. (Living with your mother with 6 kids in a house that is months behind on mortgage payments is not making it). In spite of that she somehow found at least $15,000 to do more IVF to have more kids. What help does she need? And who should help her for making stupid decisions? I know some women claim their pregnancy was an accident (that I never buy); however, she can't even say that. She DELIBERATELY went to get pregnant to bring more kids she could NOT afford into the world. How do we help her? We don't. We have to find a way to help the kids....that does not include giving her one red cent.

I definitely agree with you. The doctor should still be allowed to practice to support his new found and created family. He should be help responsible for creating this problem society.
