Wow! John King talking about game. I think he has more game, than is allowed, and I don't mean basketball either.

If you watched the entire interview John King did everything he could to put the Prez down and he couldn't get it done.. He kept saying oh he is too loose, his defense is sloppy. Everytime he would say something like that the All Stars would defend the Prez... it was neat seeing the King getting put in his place... he was really not needed in this segment at all. Showed what a fool he really was here.

Well, his job is to draw specific comments out of them. It would be a lot more boring if they just sat around and nodded at the screen.

Boy, a little different from when Bush was ridiculed for working out so much and mountain biking rather than sitting in the oval office non-stop. Now people are falling over themselves because Obama plays basketball. While the economy continues to fall apart, shouldn't he be working rather than playing around with NBA players? That would have been the response to Bush.

Obama wasn't playing around with NBA players, John King was. Any criticism of Bush is usually right on the mark, unlike yours. You can't even get the context of this article correct, much less a cogent criticism. You haters don't have anything rational and are grabbing at straws to criticize Obama. Pathetic.

Bush was never criticized for that, but he spent more time on vacation than any president in U.S. and he did look ridiculous on his faux "ranch" wacking at tumbleweeds.

Obama needs regular exercise to keep his body fit, his mind sharp, and his heart healthy. Don't see how he can clean up the extreme mess that Bush left him without regular exercise.

I do believe no matter what he did you would find fault however, most of this footage was taken during the campaign, not during his presidency. John King was fooling around with the NBA stars evaluating Obama's game - Obama had absolutely nothing to do with it.

"Bush was ridiculed for working out so much and mountain biking"

He was ridiculed for falling off his bike, a segway and coming in second wrestling a pretzel...

Not to mention his grand "sacrifice" of golf in honor to the fallen soldiers of this unnecessary and criminal Iraqi Occupation he and his Chief Minion dreamed up.

You need to get a grip. This film is from a trip to the war zone before he was President. NBA players are simply commenting on it some months later as part of the runup to the NBA All Star game.. Bush wasn't criticized for working out. He was criticized for extensive vacation time (try two months in his first six months in office). Perhaps he should have been paying more attention to his daily security briefings. Perhaps he should have met more than once with his counter-terrorism expert. Obama comes into office (with his basketball game) and achieves a MAJOR piece of legislation in his first month. That's what can happen when a supremely talented man with a balanced life focuses his talents. George wouldn't know anything about that.

They should now have the bowlers from Pennsylvania try and shoot baskets and see how that works out for them.

Good point. I winced at the bowling shots because he bowls about like I do. He does NOT play backetball 'about like I do', however!

If it had been John Nash, he would have said that Pres. Obama and his siblings play a mean game of basketball.

I think it's great. I saw Obama hit that three while he was surrounded by people. I can only hit 3's when I am alone in my back yard. (Of course I can hit 5 in a row when I am alone.) I think we have a real President, who happens to be a real guy too. He hit another 3 the other night when he kissed that homeless lady. It's so refreshing to know we have someone who actually went to school to learn, not just due to his parents paying for the bill. (Cheer leader Bush)
I dig Obama, and his ability to hit a 3 when people are looking.
P.S. I would like to take this moment to say I love RM on the Tee Vee Machine.

Please don't use the word "real" when what you really mean is "smart" or "pleasing." As much of an idiotic dunce as Bush was, he was a very real president, and we need to remember that so we don't repeat the mistake. Describing it as some mental dillusion that we imagined will only increase the speed with which we forget our folly. Bad, incompetent presidents really happen when we, as voters, fail ourselves.

look up "real" in the urban dictionary... i agree with Bookkillrr, Obama is REAL!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 12:58 PM on 02/14/2009

I believe the poster is using "real" to mean "authentic, the real thing." Bush was the opposite: unreal, inauthentic, unelected, incompetent, unbelievable and and untruthful. I applaud the posters usage.

It also goes without saying that if you are going to lecture a poster on proper English, it behooves you to spell your response properly, e.g., "delusion," not "dillusion."

Keep it real!
