I Like ItI Don’t Like It

On the "Today" show Tuesday, Karl Rove defended Republican opposition to the stimulus and said a report in the New York Daily News that Dick Cheney was furious that Scooter Libby wasn't pardoned was "overblown." But Rove admitted that the former Vice President "did feel strongly about this." Watch:

Karl Rove should have been in jail a long time ago. He blames everyone else for his foul ups! The average citizen like you and I would have been hauled off to jail if we ignored a subpoena. This is unfair and something needs to be done now!!

It's truly extraordinary how he just lies. Then he blames Obama for the failure of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Stunning.

I'd think that the toxic fumes this guy lets off would be enough to keep him isolated from the public and new organizations. He lies as a way of life, what's the point in reporting on anything he has to say?

I saw Rove's interview this morning. None of his comments came as a surprise, as we all know he is still in charge of rewriting history in the fictional piece called The Bush-Cheney Legacy.

What's overblown is Rove's ego and self confidence which should be nicely dialed back to where it should be by prosecuting him to the maximum extent possible and as soon as possible.

Why would the country care what cheney thinks about bush's pardons? Libby comitted perjury to protect cheney and has to pay the price for his crime. cheney should also be convicted of publishing the name of a covert CIA agent, which, like George Bush the greater said, is treason.

Excerpt from a recent Raw Story article...

Obama, not Bush, now seeking delay of Rove deposition
John Byrne
Published: Tuesday February 17, 2009

Former Bush Deputy White House Chief of Staff Karl Rove has a new president urging Congress not to force him to testify next week.

President Barack Obama.

In a court brief quietly filed Monday, Michael Hertz, Obama's acting assistant attorney general, said it was necessary to delay an effort to force Rove to be deposed in a congressional investigation into the firing of nine US Attorneys and the alleged political prosecution of a former Alabama governor.

Hertz said an effort was underway to find a "compromise" for Rove, and requested two weeks to broker a deal before proceeding in court.

[snip]

Hertz's statement mirrors a statement from Obama White House Counsel Gregory Craig published Saturday.

"The president is very sympathetic to those who want to find out what happened," Craig told The Washington Post. "But he is also mindful as president of the United States not to do anything that would undermine or weaken the institution of the presidency. So, for that reason, he is urging both sides of this to settle."

Very disappointing. The President seems to be siding with the political class against the people.

Even though it's a delay, the depo will still eventually proceed. Rove's not going free.

Enough of the media giving criminals the opportunity to spin a whitewash scan.

Also, enough of the Dems in Congress putting together these worthless commissions and investigations that never lead to any prosecution, convicton and sentancing because they were set up to not do anything but make the Dems look like they are "holding them accountable" while doing NOTHING to hold them accountable.

The only thing overblown here is Rove's potato head above his too-tight collar.

Why do any of the networks have Rove on? He is a crook and you can't believe anything that he says. I thought that he worked for FIXed News.

You know, I'm getting really tired of hearing anything either of these two have to say except GUILTY, dammit.

I'm with you. I don't want to hear from or about either one of them.

Unfortunately for us, narcissists firmly believe that everyone is eager to experience everything they say or do, so they continue to appear and spout off when it obviously is not wanted by anyone but the MSM, and obvioulsy not in their best interests to do so.

Fortunately for us, however, is the fact that narcissists are so sure they are above the law that in their appearances they will say or do things that will prove their guilt. Cheney has already admitted that he and Bush authorized torture.

Whether the congressional Dems and the Obama administration will actually do anything with these confessions is another issue.

If Cheney feels so strongly about Libby taking the fall for Cheney's "behind the scenes" machinations, one must presume that Cheney has reimbursed Libby the $250,000 fine he had to pay, and is helping him deal with Libby losing his license to practice law, with a nice monthly stipend. This is Cheney's problem to clean up, not Bush's.

If by Cheney's "behind the scenes" machinations you mean Colin Powell's Deputy Richard Armitage outing the CIA agent, then i agree with you

Wow. He is so filled with hatred for the President and so twisted that he is reaching back for a CLINTON appointee as a savior and all-around good guy so that he can blame then-Senator Obama for Fannie and Freddie.

You mean.... President Clinton isn't the source of all that is bad in America for Rethuglicans anymore? OH NOES! But what about the Clenis?

Hehehehe. He's hilarious. Spin, Karl, Spin Spin Spin - no Spin faster!

So he expects us to believe that Vader's not breaking out his light saber over Libby not getting a pardon. Phhhhht. He's probably prepping the Death Star.
