Obama Sushi: Japanese Chef Turns American President Into Food

Via BoingBoing, a Japanese chef has made American President Barack Obama into delicious sushi.

"Obama's skin is small shrimp," the chef says. "Hair is black sesame, fish paste teeth."

but the article is in japanese. i am wondering if they use brown sweet rice to get the brown effect for the face. i think i could do the rest but i am curious about the rice.

The brown effect comes from ami (raw baby shrimps that are cured, like cured ham or something like it, but have the color of tan). This food item is commonly found in some types of an okonomiyaki (which is like a Japanese pancake). I'm not good at describing foods, sorry.
