Jerusalem Post:

Joining a Likud government would be a breach of Kadima voters' trust and an act of self-delusion, Kadima leader Tzipi Livni said on Sunday evening ahead of a meeting with prime minister-designate and Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu. Speaking to the Kadima faction in the Knesset, Livni stressed the difficulties she perceived in the idea of her party joining a Likud-led coalition.

Probably having a laugh about how the U.S. is one of the few countries where a politician can exist who's loyalties are to another country.

Renewing his vow of fealty, no doubt.

Joe Lieberman and Avigdor Lieberman together, huh? /That's/ a photo op that'll come back to but him in the posterior if he had any reasonable expectation that his political career wasn't in the toilet. Of course, it is, so really it's just as well for him to be cavorting with fascists. He's already buddied up with neocons, so what is it to take that a few steps further to its logical evolution?

I was trying to send a tip, but was unable to so thought -- opps got it still think this might be the place place for this news:

Amnesty International has called for a freeze on arms sales to Israel and Palestinian groups such as Hamas following the recent Gaza conflict.

and this should include cutting the Pentagon line for israel

That's good. I don't agree with the attacks that either group is fielding, and equivalence demands that both Hamas and Israel have their weapons supply cut off. Neither group has demonstrated any sort of responsible rationale for deploying their weapons.

Joe Lieberman needs to be retired asap. His allegiance to both to his party and his country raises serious doubts. Maybe Israel will bulldoze another Palestinian home on the West Bank and provide him a nice villa with swimming pool and palm tree overlooking the ghettos as a thank you for his loyal service to the mother land.

I understand that Joe Lieberman is not only a U.S. citizen, but also an Israeli citizen. Is that correct? If so, perhaps it is time to pass a law that anyone elected to an office in OUR nation should surrender their citizenship in another.

He might as well be a Kennesset member, he certainly cares more about Israel than the USA.

No its not correct. And for a professor, you sound completely clueless.
I'm sure with your academic credentials you would have been able to find this on your own
Unless your intent was to sow doubt and division all along.

Fantastic. Joe Lieberman's commitment to America seems predicated on its ability to serve Israel. Really, if Joe retires or looses an election, he's going to settle in Israel, right?

Joe met with Lieberman because he's was elected, but so was Ahmedinejad. Or is Joe just trying to see how America can fulfill Lieberman's needs?

Fantastic Conneticut. Thank you for Joe Lieberman.
