Like Jindal said, "Americans can do anything," and that includes monitoring our own d*mn volcanoes. Seriously, how hard can it be?

If you looked at Jindal's eyes and listened to his voice in the speech, you can sense the hollowness. True emotions travel. Manufactured emotions remain static.

Holy crap. He sounds exactly like Kenneth the page from NBC's 30 Rock (i.e. Jack McBrayer). They could even be identical twins, except for the coloring.
They were saying this is the new face of the Republican party. Between him and Rush, that sounds just fine to me. Keep this up and it'll be easier for Barack to win in four years than it was this time.
How quickly the Republicans forget who was running the show for the first 6 years before Democrates took over. Lets talk about increased spending. I am so sickened by this old way of thinking. Obama is takin to them and they have no idea how to respond but go back to the same old tired drum..."cut taxes" "trust the private sector" "you don't want the government telling you what to do with your health care choices, instead let insurance companies do it" Has this guy ever needed to wait on an insurance company to approve a procedure or for them to approve a medication they will cover only after the drug companies have given them a kick back? And wasn't this a Republican response? It sounded more like him running for president. All he talked about was himself. Well at least he didn't take his coat off, put on a sweater and slippers and sing "Won't you be my neighbor"
I am no genius. But wouldn't building a magnetic train from "las vegas to Disney" create both jobs and help with the energy crisis? Not to mention, the billions of dollars that are marked for govt vehicles were mostly ordered during the Bush administration. Also, I am from Louisiana, and Jindal has hopped from one govt posistion to another. He can't wait to run for president. I hope he continues to be as dynamic as he was in this speech, so that he will fail to sway any votes. The GOp has got to be kidding me.
Is this guy serious. Im waiting for him to open up a childrens book or somethin and start readin from it.
Yes, we must remember that America has dangerous enemies in the world. The worst enemy America has is called the Republican Party.
Jindal sounds like he is talking to 2nd graders.
Bobby,
I actually think that Republicans and Democrats agree when it comes to the "more government-less government" debate. Republicans think there should be less government.
And Democrats think there should be less government AS NECESSARY.
Too many pages to read, so I don't know if this has been mentioned, but....
His tie matches the way the US flag's curled. Good thing no one moved the flag!! And even more....
The US flag, the banister, his tie and the banner on the state flag all turn to the right.
Subliminal???
I'd rather use USPS then FED EX or UPS any day. It's cheaper, faster, and better. What does that say about privatization vs. nationalization?
I'd like to have a check up, but I can't afford it.
My kid needs to go to the dentist, but I can't afford it!
Come on! I don't like what your feeding me. It's rancid.
I saw almost 2/3s of bobbys speech before flipping back to Mr. Rogers.
Or was I watching Mr. Rogers all along?
Huey Long would b*tch slap this guy...
Does anyone believe that BS story about Harry Lee? It seems more unlikely to me every time I hear it.
Lee's jurisdiction is Jefferson Parish. The levee failures flooded none of Jefferson Parish. Were any of JP's residents trapped on their rooftops by flooding?
About which boats and rooftops is Jindal talking?
I am sure the K K K and SK|N HEAD base of the republican party were having ball yesterday after seeing a brown skinned skinny man as their party's future star. I really like to see what the crowd at his campaign rally would yell in 2012. That's if he makes it to the nomination.
Off with the head!

WHAT?
volcanoes???
i mean how silly, why would we want to monitor them?
just that hawaii is a volcano, and that they line the pacific rim where millions of people live... I mean who cares?
