Freida Pinto Lands Woody Allen Movie

Freida Pinto will follow up her performance in the Oscar-winning "Slumdog Millionaire" with a role in Woody Allen's latest project.

This year's Cinderella at the Oscar ball will join the long list of Allen's muses as she takes on the ingenue role in the helmer's still-untitled pic.

Naomi Watts has also signed on to star in the film, joining the already-announced Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins.

She'll be fine...good for her.
In spite of Woody's personal life he does create great roles for women...unlike other Hollywood directors; so few movies have good roles for women.

Oh, he's too old to do anything but look. I think she'll be ok. I hope she has a chaperone, though. But there are some good people in the cast--Anthony Hopkins and Naomi Watts---maybe they'll protect her. I hope she keeps that sweetness and innocence.

the best performers for woody would be the slum dog kids. ms. pinto has shown herself to be totally cerebral to the extreme. watch how she doesn't laugh at woody's jokes. is that what woody wants?

My husband is a big Woody Allen fan, but I can't stand most of his movies. For me, watching a Woody Allen movie is torture. Maybe you have to be a baby boomer to like his movies.

It might depend on which ones you've seen. I think that Annie Hall is brilliant, but there are some that didn't do much for me.

Am very happy for her. A complete unknown making it in hollywood from India someone who never stared in an Indian movie. I am especially happy because I noticed in bollywood movies the actors and the actresses are very fare skin no dark skin Indians. So good for her. At least she didn't have to bleach her skin to get noticed.
