Talking Points Memo:

The talk from the Coleman campaign about how the Minnesota election results are unreliable, and that a do-over election could be an option, has now gone beyond just Norm Coleman's lawyers -- it's now coming from the mouth of Norm himself.

Does Coleman have some financial problems? He is fighting this too tough.

Isn't Coleman "tainted and unreliable?"

Wow, I can't believe how low these losers will go to waste taxpayer dollars. Dollars the state of Minnesota can ill afford to throw away for such vanity.

Responsible grownups know there are no do overs after gradeschool, and if Coleman thinks the electorate have warmed significantly to his pathetic whining hypocricy, he has a rude surprise waiting for him.

Is someone doing an end-run around voters? Can't believe they'd want to pay for this.

Nobody asked us. Coleman is trying to force it. Suffice to say it would be very unpopular here. Our state is running a severe deficit as it is.

Coleman has a trade-off to consider:

1. Ruin his future to delay the work of the Senate by a few more days!

2. Live to run again by stepping aside and "tick off" the "Incompetent Right Wing Republicans" that run the show right NOW!

With the extraordinarily positive polls for Obama, I would welcome a special election just to see Norm get clobbered. Just one thing, no campaign and vote within 10 days.

Not me, Al Franken won this election and should be seated. End of story. Norm Coleman is a loser and a sore loser at that. The republican brand is so tarnished, that they will make their last stand this battle. Is this the hill they want to die on? Is this really their hill? Zero votes in the house for a popular stimulus bill, three votes in the Senate. Bobby Jundal giving the minority response to the non-state of the union address and sounding, well pathetic. Sarah Palin the Veep is still candidate damaged goods, and their party is fractured. Right wing evangelists, radical economic Milton Friedman acolytes, fiscal conservatives, the single issue social voter against a woman's right to choose and those opposed to gay rights makes up the party along with assorted racists and bigots. Notice I did not say fiscal conservatives are part of the party? The new progressive wing of the democratic party will be the new fiscally conservative body in congress. And the republicans need a new image, and frankly, Mr. Steele is not it.

Without profanity and personal attack, you have nailed this issue right on the head:

Coleman lost and needs to move on the way Nixon did in 1960. And like 1960, the GOP is leaderless.

HEY NORMIE "YOUR A NON-ENTITY" ANYMORE, BOTH IN MN & DC. SAVE YOUR FUNDS FOR YOUR LEGAL DEFENSE WHEN YOU'RE INDICTED FOR HOW THE $500K GOT FROM TEXAS INTO YOUR WIFE'S PAWS AND BEYOND. THAT'S THE TRUE "MOVE-ON.ORG".

And this just in:

"Colmon supports vote to award himself 1 million dollars! He also supports:

Public-funded plastic surgery to make himself better looking (surgeons are doubtful),
Snow on Christmas Day,
Free gumdrops to good little boys and girls,
A shiny new tricycle for his birthday,

Oh, and a subverting of the democratic process in Minnesota. Not much, really.
