WASHINGTON — Sen. Roland Burris isn't saying whether he'll run for a full term in the Senate next year, but he has laid the groundwork on the Internet.

Burris' Senate office confirmed Monday that is a legitimate site that could be used if the Democrat decides to seek a full term. http://www.supportburris.com

Burris was appointed to the Senate by disgraced former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who was removed from office after being accused of trying to sell the Senate seat.

Burris has faced numerous calls to resign because of revelations about how he was appointed to the seat. He has changed his story multiple times but denies any wrongdoing.

The site, which was set up by Burris' business partners, includes a short welcome note from Burris and a fundraising link.

He is not going anywhere until he and his family have been taken care of with political appointments.
Those are the rules than Burris knows and won't let the game be changed.

Note the Family page, mentioning:

Roland W. Burris II, Esq.

According to Wikipedia: "Esquire (abbreviated Esq.) is a term of British origin, originally used to denote social status. Ultimately deriving from the medieval squires who assisted knights, the term came to be used automatically by men of gentle birth. The social rank of Esquire is that above gentleman."

What a crock!

The "Endorsements" page is equally well populated.
