Mariska Hargitay Hospitalized Again For Collapsed Lung

NEW YORK — Emmy winner Mariska Hargitay is in the hospital.

The star of NBC's "Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit" was hospitalized on Wednesday after feeling discomfort from a partially collapsed lung. She is undergoing tests.

Hargitay has been ailing since at least mid-January, when producers announced that she had a partially collapsed lung. Her spokeswoman, Leslie Sloane, said the actress "expects to be feeling better soon" and that production of the show will not be affected.

Hargitay, 45, won an Emmy last year for her role as Detective Olivia Benson on "Law & Order: SVU."

yes, get well soon, my lungs have collapsed twice and it's not joke getting them inflated back up again. When they put the chest tube in, the Drs. says it's the equivalent of been stabbed on the street. But my lungs collapsed quite some time ago, maybe they came up with a better way of inflating them back up. I hope so. Get well Mariska. I love you on Law and Order.

I think she is HOT
The Mansfield and Hargitay genes blended nicely.
Now I'm no doctor but my exposure to the collapsed lung deal is usually when someone is into drugs pretty deep. I hope not but it does happen to the best and sometimes in this case the prettiest people.
We all do have that Constructive and that Destructive habit in all of us.

Mariska,
I'm suspicious of this diagnosis and think that you should see another doctor for 2nd opinion. A partially collapsed lung should be fixable unless there are complications, which seems to be the case. I hope you are well soon and can return to Law & Order which is one of my favorite TV shows.
