SEIU Challenges O'Reilly To 'Walk A Day In Our Shoes' (VIDEO)

SEIU is the Service Employees International Union, and because they are a "union," Fox News' Bill O'Reilly reflexively refers to it as a radical, anti-American, George Soros-funded bastion of Bolshevism with dangerous ideas like "collective bargaining" and "workplace safety" and "sick leave." Naturally, the SEIU responded to these attacks, suggesting that O'Reilly take the time to spend a day "walking in their shoes."

But I wouldn't get my hopes up that O'Reilly would ever deign to step out of his mighty bubble of infotainment and interact with actual common people in places like Maine or Billings, Montana. When the homeless veterans he insisted did not exist took the trouble to come to him, O'Reilly just hid, like a punk.

Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh they are all the same. All they care about is their own opinions, their own party, and their own riches. Point, Scream and shout that's all they do. They don't care about everyday Americans, except when it pertains to their ratings. They lack what most people around the world do have, compassion and a heart. I wouldn't give Fox News, or Rush's show the time of day. They are loud, rude, racist, and spew ignorance and hate.
America is starting to turn away from these guys type of so-called entertainment. We want a successful America, and for President Obama to be successful. They on the other hand want President Obama to fail. What kind of Americans do you call that?

Do you know anything about the industrial revolution in this country? Unsafe working conditions, 70 or 80 hour work weeks with no overtime, child labor, being fired for no reason at all, (because people starving willing to take your place), slave labor, and low wages. Is that what you want America to be again? Have you ever been in a union? I have had two union jobs. Unions are not perfect, but they are a lot better then no union at all. Do you think it is fair for the owner and stock holders of a company to become super rich off the sweat of the laborers? I don't understand where you are coming from. If you are looking down your nose at manufacturing and laborers, who do you want to perform this work. Manual labor built this great country and now it is thought of as work for only uneducated useless people. It gives you great pride to make or build something with your hands. There will always be a need for manual labor and it should be appreciated as much as any other job.

One of the first things he did was to bust the air traffic controller's union. And he went after as many unions as he could. THAT'S why union membership has declined. Not because people don't want to join, but because policies set in place by conservatives have made it harder to join a union.
