Blackbery Curve

Salon.com:

It's been almost a month since I broke up with my iPhone and switched to the new T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8900 for what I like to call "unified communications." And while I sometimes yearn for my iPhone's awesome sleekness and its admirable browser, the new BlackBerry Curve is proving to be a worthy and admirable replacement.

Sorry ... this article is an advertisement. This is some person's opinion and rationale. I would love to see someone at HuffPo thoroughly check out this article and discover if there is connection between the author and Verizon in any way shape or form.

If I haven't been clear - I'm accusing the author of being a shill. This is written in the form of one of those news segments from the FDA when they all played the reporters in the make believe press conference.

Utter non-sense to recommend a phone that isn't supported by 3G.

Again - I accuse whomever is responsible for posting this tripe as being a shill for Rim, Verizon and potentionally HuffPo. The language is specific about the carrier and manufacturer and fuzzy about the performance of the actual instrument. I think it's horse pucky.

I guess you're one of those poor souls that has yet to figure out that ALL media is nothing but a shill for corporate interests.

For instance the amount of Apple NON news stories reported daily on this site is literally mind numbing.

Never had an iPhone but got the Blackberry this past January and I love it... besides T-Mobile is offering a $100 rebate on each phone.

It's a sweet box, isn't it?

Bottom line is, there are millions and millions of installed Blackberrys, and nothing is going to prompt people (and companies) to throw them away and replace them ... not even with a hand-held Mac. Engineers the world over are busy, and they will not only match but trump the iPhone. (Apple's engineers, however, are just as busy, so stay tuned.)

ALL of them will "win," and there's definitely a place for all of them.

What will "lose?" The laptop.

Stay tuned.
