Personally, I'm more of a fan of Jill Biden's sense of style than I am Michelle Obama's. While I like much of what Michelle wears, I think that sometimes puts on stuff that doesn't quite work. (I'm thinking the Inaugural Ball dress).

Jill Biden's style is funky in a Philly girl kind of way. If you come to Center City, South Street or Chestnut Hill, you'll see women of all ages rocking the stuff she wears. I don't think she's at all age inappropriate and I love the boots! In fact, I'm going to go out and get a pair.

We don't generally pay much attention to the VP's wife, except for maybe Tipper Gore, but I'd like to see more of Jill Biden. I didn't even know about the school kids coming to their house before I saw that pic.

I agree one hundred percent! They are both wonderful couples! Dr. Jill Biden is a beautiful and intelligent woman! She looked gorgeous in her red dress. I hope to hear more from her.

Jill Biden is close to perfect in appearance. Both Jill and Michelle have shown good taste in wardrobe choices, Jill short and petite, Michelle tall with a larger frame, yet each drop dead gorgeous! Our country is fortunate to have two very incredible women to represent our nation.

I don't like hooker boots on anyone, and it would be hypocritical for me to have slammed Sarah Palin for wearing them, and then praising Jill Biden simply because I voted for her husband. The high heel boots belong on sunset, not K Street. Plain and simple.

I agree with both of you (Dana Nicole and Solja). Jill Biden is very petite and can wear just about anything and I'm not into picking at people in the public eye over what they wear, but something of the grandma in me doesn't like to see those "hooker" boots. I'm not judging her personally, and I like boots in general, but...oh well, it's not really important is it?

Not sure why you call them "hooker" boots. They just look like boots to me. I have seen boots in the Victoria's Secret catalog and on stereotyped TV prostitutes and porn stars. But those boots normally come up over the knees. Jill Biden's did not. The top of the boot was below the knee. I'm no expert on boots but that just looks like a dress boot to me.
Perhaps you would prefer her to wear a good solid pair of black leather orthopedic shoes with velcro closure?

I sat three seats down from Jill Biden the last night of the Democratic National Converntion, during Obama's acceptance speech. She is truely an attractive woman, as are the entire Biden family...the sons and the daughter were between Jill and me.

Stylish, yes, but I agree that she seems to be "showing" too much. I'm not a prude, and am younger than Jill, but I thought her inuagural gown was too low in the neckline and not appropriate. The day before when they were on Ophra, she had on a very, very short skirt which seemd to say she wanted everyone to see her legs.

She is not as naturally, honestly beautful as Michelle Obama, who looks like a magnificent bronze gazelle, with all the self-confidence in the world.

Dr. Biden needs to remember her age and position. Just my opinion.

Don't put her in a box. She is entitled to her own style. It may not be yours, be she actually buys her clothes and dresses herself. She doesn't even have to ask you or her husband. I'm sure he loves her in anything and nothing.

I reluctantly have to agree. Too many very short skirts for her age. I'm her age and have great legs, but gave up short skirts a few years ago. But I have grandchildren (so does she, I think). I don't want to criticize her personally, but I just don't like to see it in the pictures. I loved the red dress though and did NOT think it was too revealing because it was a gown.

Oh my gosh -- if you have great legs like Jill, then by all means wear short skirts! Just because you're a certain age numerically doesn't mean you have to dress a certain way. Everyone should dress according to their own body and likes -- pure and simple. No one's telling you how to dress and you don't have the right to tell others.
