That is hilarious. People have been using these in Hawaii for decades. You see them in people's front yards, usually full of dying, neglected plants. I always laughed when I saw them, they looked so funky. Old toilets are another popular front yard planter, for some.

I've read that the best roadways are made with rubber from tires. Chopped up into tiny pieces they give a quieter, smoother ride and last longer than those made without the rubber. One can only wonder what other uses used tires can be used for.
