State Department Gone Wild (VIDEO)

The good folks at the United States consulate in Merida have created a helpful, rock music-filled Spring Break video for the Cancun-bound.

The message: "People should use their common sense," "do not take a vacation from your common sense," and "use good judgment," because "95% of injuries involve impaired judgment."

The State Department recently warned citizens against traveling in Mexico unless necessary, but there's no mention in this video of recent carnage associated with Mexican drug cartels. Just "watch what people are putting into your drinks."

It's a good week for happy government video. Which is more lighthearted? The State Department's Spring Break video, or the Federal Trade Commission's parody of those ads?
