Burris, Stroger Facing Challenges From Black Women As Machine Feels Heat

It's a heady time in African-American politics. Presidents, senators and congressmen are feeling the burn. The old political hands are nervous. The young turks are finding their sea legs. The 2010 Democratic primary races for the U.S. Senate and Cook County Board presidency may be petri dishes for a new strain of black political leadership.

Just because you are critical of an African American does not mean you are a racist.

I judge people on their actions and capabilities, and Burris and Stroger are as corrupt as they come and need to go.

It's the people that think they should stay in office because of the color of their skin that are the TRUE racists in this equation.

lol I love it. Burris and Stroger need to and should be 'put out to pasture' because they have repeatedly failed to do their job and work in an ethical manner. Both are self serving politicians who have used their political stature to benefit members of their families.

It's not so much that IL needs young faces, it's more about fresh faces that have not been apart of the Machine and it's shenanigans.
