Think Progress:

Today, Congress is discussing if and how to create a systemic risk regulator for the financial industry, which would oversee all financial institutions and prevent activities that could pose a threat to the entire economy. To analyze the feasibility and necessity of such a regulator, CNBC turned to President George Bush's Deputy Press Secretary, Tony Fratto, who was introduced as a "CNBC Contributor."

This guy told one of the biggist lies about the invasion of Iraq when he stood in front of a room full of journalists and said "We went in as a multi-national force under United Nation's authorization to take military action in Iraq" Nothing could have been further from the truth, almost all of the international law experts will tell you that we violated U.N.s charter by invading Iraq without U.N. authorization and that the invasion was illegal. It seems CNBC is retooling itself to become FauxNews light.

Another Republican schill on the media. I thought CNBC was the undisputed financial network? Obviously they feel the need to copy more of a Fox Business Channel format since Craemer, Kudlow and Santelli are their top stars. But there is an element of people who watch business channels tend to be Republican.

Why not. CNBC hasn't gotten it right yet. Why start now. The only ones worth a damn are Olbermann and Maddow.

So CNBC hires one of the Bush conspirator's to teach them how it should be done. NBC is have got to do a complete overhaul or altogether cancel CNBC for anyone to have any respect it.

I will say it again... CNBC is going to end up behind the distant third financial cable channel, fraud business, if they continue to prop up the failed policies and class warfare.

" Fratto’s main point of concern with the push for regulation is that Congress is “dangerously” motivated by “vengeance” and might over-regulate: "

It's better to regulate than letting all hells break loose, letting wall street rape main street, letting a few getting filthy rich and causing all others, the real people who live by the rules to suffer, to scrape by to survive.

TuFu I am not going to boycott Keith O or Rachel. I do not watch them in the daytime where republicans rule the day on CNN, MSNBC, Faux.

Who watches CNBC anyway? Whoever they are they must be craz.y. Mark republican Haines is a sl.ob. Somebody has told Er.in Burnett she is a smart brun.ette (not) and an "international superstar" as mourning joe refers to her.

Kudlow is a republic.ant pu.ppet.

Is that an empty body shown in the photograph waiting for a brain transplant? Or is it just a Republican hack who now has a new soapbox to hack from?
