Oddly enough, in all the tributes to Natasha Richardson, there is never a mention of The White Countess. It was a 2005 Merchant Ivory production with Natasha, Vanessa Redgrave, Lynn Redgrave, and Ralph Fiennes. I watched it last night and she was mesmerizing as the Countess. It is well worth viewing - it only shows what a great talent we have lost. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Yes, truth that was a wonderful gem of a movie and Natasha Richardson was extraordinary in the fil. I believe her mother and aunt was in that film also.

My prayers go out to her family and her husband although I honestly did n ot follow her career but this is such a tragedy. It truly reminds you that life is too short and we much try to enjoy every moment of it because tomorrow is not promised to us.

While I send condolences to all who loved her (friends and family) it's her two son's that I feel for. I cannot imagine just at the beginning stages of their teenage years how they will be be able t o cope with this devistating loss.

I feel so sad about this. I was really hoping she would make it. They seemed so in love...it just breaks my heart.

I had a scary incident in 07 with a snow tube where I was pitched head first at full speed from the tube when it hit something along the way and flipped over like a pancake. I was cut, bleeding, had a concussion. The doctor said it could have been so much worse and that I was very lucky. I am so grateful for being here today and I will never get on another snow tube. I will definitely not go skiing since I already know I have clumsy feet.

This is really too sad for words. A mother losing a daughter, a sister losing her only sibling...

Not to mention Liam losing his wife and two young sons losing their mother...awful.
