CNBC's Kudlow Headlines GOP Fundraiser

Politico reports that CNBC host Larry Kudlow is headlining a March 24th fundraiser for the National Republican Congressional Committee in Washington, DC.

"Kudlow, a former Reagan administration official and Obama tax-hike hater, will speak during the lunch at an all-day "business summit" hosted by committee chairman Pete Sessions (R-Texas)."

Kudlow also appeared at the annual Prescott Bush awards dinner, the Connecticut GOP's biggest fundraiser of the year. He has expressed interest in running against Sen. Chris Dodd in 2010. "I'm thinking about it, that's all I can say," Kudlow said early this month. "It's the kind of thing where I'm talking to friends, talking to strategists, talking to my wife, and praying on it."

Meanwhile, Kudlow's fellow CNBC personality Jim Cramer is prolonging his feud with Jon Stewart of the "Daily Show." On the "Today Show" Thursday, he said it was a "naive and misleading thing to attack the media." NBC CEO Jeff Zucker defended Cramer Wednesday, saying Stewart's criticism was "completely out of line."
