When Michelle Obama arrived for the groundbreaking of the White House Kitchen Garden on Friday morning, she was dressed in head-to-toe black, layering a long cardigan over a turtleneck and leggings, and patent leather boots. She cinched the waist with a Maria Cornejo belt that she's worn repeatedly in the last few months (see all her belts here).
We've also seen the boots before: they're one of her many favorite flat shoes.
This was the second day in a row she's worn all-black. Perhaps she's following in the footsteps of Social Secretary Desiree Rogers, who's made the color her signature style?
