Muppets Mock Jimmy Fallon And Jason Segel (VIDEO)

Statler and Waldorf, the two old curmudgeons from the "Muppet Show," made an appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" to mock the host and his guest, Jason Segel, who is promoting his new film, "I Love You Man." They skewered both Jimmy's interview skills and Jason's stardom, and were generally pretty mean.

At the time they interrupted, however, Jason Segel was repeating jokes from this interview by attaching the word bro to the beginning of everything, so we kind of understood where they were coming from.

Puppets have made a serious comeback in comedy recently with Jimmy Kimmel using them to illustrate the Madoff scandal, and Ricky Gervais giving the world's greatest interview to Elmo. Segel is in charge of the next Muppet movie, so these confrontations are not new for him.

I don't like his show either and I do think it will tank, but you have to remember, Conan started out with really rough ratings too.

wow, that about sums up Fallon's show right there. I'm betting NBC pulls him after this season. i remember before he even started people on the inside grumbling that Jimmy was not cut out for this and wouldn't last long. my opinion.. get dave chappelle (or somebody else more hip and funny)

I feel like Late Night should be a little edgier than muppets. Fallon's sense of humor is a little to wholesome.

A ponderance: most other shows from NBC aren't accessible from where I am (Australia) and that comes up in big bad nasty letters. Can't see 30 Rock clips, can't see SNL clips.

However I've seen two clips from Fallon posted on here just now. One is from NBC, the other on Youtube. Are NBC trying to get a wider audience for Fallon? From what I've read he's sinking slowly, and NBC are usually more protective of their property.

This is the funniest Jimmy Fallon episode to date... maybe if Fallon doesn't show up and has a guest host, that episode will be the funniest. This show is just horrible.
