The nanny in sole charge of Madonna's adopted son David Banda has left suddenly -- despite plans for the star to adopt another baby from Malawi.
It was revealed yesterday that the nanny, an Australian called Angela, had handed in her notice, only to be told by the 50-year-old singer to leave before the notice period was complete.
A source said: 'Angela is distraught. Madonna told her the news two hours before she was due to go on her annual month-long leave.
