Roseanne Barr is looking to return to primetime.
The star of ABC's long-running sitcom has teamed with one of the "Roseanne" producers, Caryn Mandabach, for a family comedy in which she would play the matriarch.
Jim Vallely ("Arrested Development") is attached to pen the script for the project, which has been pitched to Fox

sometimes rosanne can come off unfocused because she's so incensed, i get it, agree with her alot too. i hope the tv show will give her a medium where she can refine and focus and deliver with humor.
I absolutely adore her. She's a woman who has stood by her convictions. She was the first one to call out the I$raeli atrocities during the G@za war (or massacre) - despite the fact that she is a very proud and practicing J.ewish woman. She didn't side with the W.einstein
A big Thank You to Ms. Barr for helping families being thrown out of their homes due to foreclosure. The only celebrity out there!!!

Boring. Barr can't act. She couldn't act when she had her sitcom and she's not funny any more as she was in her youth. She's lost that edge.
She has always had great timing - These days, I could use her sense of humor. This is good news, the woman is funny. I never gave attention to anything but her performances.
I think it's a good time for her to come out with something, too. She is one of the only celebs who grasps what it's like to live in the working class of this country.
I love it that she was getting out there with foreclosed families!!! I think it's wonderful that celebs are doing great things in Africa, but people in America are sinking. Being thrown out on the street with babies in their arms. Living in tents without running water. I don't understand why celebs aren't interested in helping people in the U.S.--mayb
I think I heard that something like 1 in 10 children are now homeless in the U.S.

I'm glad she's making a comeback to prime time. Rosanne show was brilliant and I love watching the reruns.

Best of luck; her original TV show was great (though was rather variable after the 4th year and royally sucked in its final one.)
And this is also FOX that's doing it. Typical lifespan of a sitcom: 6 episodes. Which are usually devoid of anything clever or witty, in favor of tripe and (what rhymes with 'witty').
If you were a multimillionaire living in California, you'd age well too.
Especially with unlimited plastic surgery.
I guess Fox is too lucrative $ wise, in that it's the source of much of what she rails against.
But it would be cool if there's a too much like Rupert character that would be the butt of all the jokes
(or any other flapping jaw on FNC)
She does look great.
