Cindy Crawford posed naked, wearing eyeliner and lather, in the April issue of Allure magazine. Crawford, 43, posed for the "anti-aging" Issue with an accompanying caption that reads,

"This is what 43 looks like. Crawford's skin-care regimen includes a day cream with antioxidants, a sunscreen, a night cream, and an eye cream. She also swears by microdermabrasion - and protecting the skin on her hands, neck, and chest."

Cindy looks amazing; however, I'm 10 years younger than her and would never look like that if tried. Geesh, when I was 18, I think I worried about why I didn't look like Cindy Crawford and other popular supermodels.

I like the message that women shouldn't be afraid to get older, but that picture is NOT "what 43 looks like" (unless of course, you happen to be Cindy Crawford!)

She is very pretty. What I am not sure of is why quite a few people act like a woman in her 40's or 50's should be falling apart. MANY women if they take care of themselves, eat healthy etc look even better in their 40's and 50's then they did when they were younger.

Tell me about it! I was in a doctor's office and was reading a health magazine that had a special issue on plastic surgery. One of the plastic surgeons said that women should start getting botox in their late 30s to give themselves (direct quote) "a few more good years".

Like, what... if you have a few wrinkles around your eyes or on your forehead, your good days are over, and you are on the path to being a nanny goat? Please! Our culture is so weird about aging.
