Rihanna Gets A Gun Tattoo (PHOTOS)

Rihanna, who has been laying low since her Grammy-weekend blowup with, and alleged assault by, Chris Brown, has a new gun tattooed on her body.

Rihanna, who also has "Shhh" tattooed on a finger, a Maori design on her right hand and stars behind her ear (that match stars behind Brown's ear) brought tattoo artist Bang Bang out to LA for her latest ink.

He posted some photos and commentary on his MySpace page, where he wrote that she flew him to LA for one day and put him up at the Roosevelt so he could add to her body art.

Under the first photo, with the guns drawn on each shoulder as seen below, Bang Bang writes, "i really wanted to put it here... she loved em.. .but, cover girl wouldnt have liked it much... and they pay the bills!"



But she ended up getting them on the side of her ribs, under her arms, "ended up doing it on her ribbs... " as seen here:

First of all, just because she is the face of Cover Girl, does not mean they have the right to tell her what she can and can not do to her body, and I think that a lot of women would agree that they do not want other people to tell them how she they should look, act, etc, etc. Second, they make tattoo cover up every day - Cover Girl probably knows something about that - I have used their products to cover mine up (they don't work). Regardless­, this is HER body - nobody else's. If she feels empowered by these tattoos, so be it, but that doesn't give everyone the right to judge her. And quite frankly, I am sure that she doesn't give a rats ass about what people are thinking about her. We all deal with things differentl­y - Just because she got guns tattooed on her side, doesn't mean she's a bad person or that she is dealing with the situation wrong. A lot of people use art (tattooing is an art) to express themselves­, and I think that's just what she is doing.

For a Covergirl, these gun tattoos are beyond the pale. I recommend that Covergirl immediatel­y terminate Rihanna's contract based on the new gun tattoos. Rihanna is talented enough, and possibly also already wealthy enough, to get by without Covergirl, and that's just what she should do. As a woman, a mother to a young daughter, and an advocate of stricter gun control laws, the last thing I want to think about when I buy make-up is two tatted guns hiding in a young girl's bodice. These tattoos may be Rihanna's misguided way of re-claimin­g her strength, or self... to me, they are a significan­t impediment to my purchase of Covergirl products. Good luck, P&G, dealing with this debacle... you're in a difficult situation - and in this case, who isn't?

Rihanna got this tattoo to tell everyone that she is violent and she is a bad girl, she is trying to shout it out to everyone and no one is listening.

Everyone is thinking she got a gun tattoo to scare Chris, no she got it to tell everyone something.

"I am the violent aggressive one and stop treating me like a victim."

She has never ever showed us her new tattoo before and she has never partied as much as she is partying now.

This is the new Britney.

There are 'real' women being abused down the road from your house, why don't you go and help them or volunteer in a battered woman's shelter.

Why is a pop star more important than a woman living down the road who has no money or resources to leave her abusive husband?

You may be on to something here. Cognitive dissonance is engaging in something which makes you feel uncomforta­ble but you do not stop. On the one hand you want to discontinu­e whatever it is that is going on, but you are not sure if you should, instead you alow it to continue and you certainly feel really bad afterwards­. Rihanna seem in essence still very very immature for someone her age, clearly lots of growing up is needed. While nobody expects her to have all the answers, after all she still is only in her early twenties. She may have a very good singing voice but man I have seen someone her age who can make a room full of doctors shut up and listen to what she has to say. It wil be really good for Rihanna to gain some education, just so she may develop some intellectu­al thinking and reasoning skills.

Rhianna is making the same mistake as Sarah Palin: she's focusing on a very small percentage of her total audience, thereby alienating the biggest, middle-of-­the-road percentage­.

In Rhianna's case, she's trying to present herself as some kind of tough gun-moll, with a tough-guy boyfriend, and pretending the two of them are "tough guys" together. This eliminates every young fan whose parents are offended as hell by this "gangsta" attitude she is now putting on. A lot of her fans are quite young and parents hold the purse strings. Her manager must be having conniption­s. There goes the commission­.

In reality, she is a skinny, small, powerless little woman getting beaten over and over, who covered it up as long as she could until it happened in public and she couldn't hide it anymore. The general public, who knows she has money and can run away, has little pity for her. Just leave already, and hire a bodyguard.

Coming from an person that was abused by my first husband...­.until she is ready to leave him, no money in the world is going to convince her otherwise until she is ready. I put up a lot from him, not wanting to involve anyone in my problems.

Yes, it is out in the open now, and I feel as a lot of others do....that she needs to kick him to the curb. But it won't happen until she is ready, as hard as that is for others to comprehend­. It is still hard for me to believe that I stuck around and put up with the hitting as long as I did...it is embarrassi­ng. Never again.

Back on topic.....­.

That tattoo is pretty stupid in my opinion. But at least she didn't get his name tattooed along with it.
