Sorry but Barbara Bush looks like she's 20 years older than Pappy Bush.

Okay the butler in the GHB photo looks like the same butler in the JFK photo.

Is it just me, or does Bill Clinton look like Tucker Carlson in that picture?

All he needs is a bow tie...

It's hard to believe that that picture is of Barbara Bush. Just shows you that her eldest son gave her the blues. The Eisenhowers were quite the lookers, weren't they?

Here's some useless trivia for you:

Franklin Pierce, the 14th president, is considered to be one of the worst by historians. He is a distant cousin of Barbra Pierce, who after she married, gave birth to George W. Bush, considered to be one of the worst presidents by most of the American people.

I think it runs in the family on both sides.

What astonishes me about the Eisenhower photo is how very young they are. I was a child when he was President and to see them so young and lovely (all be it a tad stiff) was fun. All the rest are simply lovely. I thought Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter look about 12 years old.

Boy, the Clintons look like they got married young...

Also: Eisenhower looks like a bucket of fun, huh? Armed crossed, lording above wife, no mutual eye contact... who the hell took their wedding photos?

That's how photos were done back then. Look straight ahead, usually no smiling, and stand for nearly an hour. Quite interesting to see the progression.

The Kennedy photo was absolutely classic. A gorgeous couple. I also like the Reagan photo; very sweet.

From a historical perspective, they're all quite lovely. Jackie Kennedy and Michelle Obama are just ephemeral beauties and made lovely brides.

BUT....my favorite photo is that of Bill and Hillary Clinton. They look so fresh and so youthful....makes you wonder if they really REALLY knew what the heck was coming their way in a few years!!

I am always awe-struck at how presidents (and to some extent their loved ones) tend to age so quickly! It is a telling sign of how much the stresses of the office wear on their mental and physical reserves.

They look like he's whispering sweet nothing in her ear. It is a very touching photo.

The Kennedy wedding photo is exquisite. Jackie was a natural beauty, and she wore a gorgeous gown. And who knew a Kansas boy like Ike could be so handsome? Ike and Mamie's wedding picture and the setting are very interesting -- quite classic.

Yes FDR was first known for his good looks, before he got polio many people thought the would be president just because he looked so nice.

Here's Eleanor, my all-time favorite First Lady (though I've a feeling Michelle is going to change that :)).

Yes. I love Eleanor, too. I seem to recall that she took a lot of flack for her actions in the White House, too. A lot of Republicans didn't like her any more than they like Michelle Obama.

Bush forty one was very good looking and a real hero in the second world war. Unfortunately the genes were not passed along to his offspring.

Bush 41 (much like the Kennedy's) had to join because of the shame his father had bought to the family for backing the wrong side.

Interesting. In all the pictures of Obama on the campaign trail and as president, he's never allowed himself to look as tired as he did on that evening in 1992. The man gives self-discipline a new name.

And so many of them look so young. I wouldn't have recognized George H. W. or the Eisenhowers at all, and the Carters look so fresh-faced and sweet.

The Clintons ... I don't know. I think Bill was an eminently competent president (though I never supported him on NAFTA, WTO, etc.), and he engendered a whole lost less disrespect for the office than the guy who followed him did. But ... I don't know. The 70s just annoy me to no end.
