Ashley Biden is the only daughter and youngest child of Vice President Joe Biden and wife Jill Biden.

Born June 8, 1981, her full name is Ashley Blazer Biden. She has campaigned with her father since her preschool days.

She has two older brothers, Hunter and Beau, and lives in Delaware.

In 2008 Ashley Biden was named a Person to Watch by Delaware Today.

She works as a social worker.

In 2002 Ashley Biden was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a police officer outside a Chicago bar. In 2009 she was caught up in a media firestorm about a tape allegedly showing her doing cocaine.

I was waiting to see if anyone else noticed the Fox News connection. xzalate did! This wouldn't even be an issue if it wasn't for Fox News. They feed on anything out there that may cause a stir among conservatives then claim they are only making said issue publice because they want to be "fair and balanced." On a separate note, there are no illegal drugs in this country. Anyone can possess anything if . . . . . IF . . . they are so licensed. So, "illegal" is improper. "Controlled substance" is correct.

HuffPo should have refused to print any article concerning this matter. It is exploitative and anyone with children, intelligent children recognizes that they must find their own boundaries. This young woman's good works are now ruined. I suspect the film, the lawyer selling the film, are all part of a set up to ruin reputations - allegedly Ashley's and the Vice President. I posit that it very well may be a flawed and inaccurate representation of the party and that Miss Biden may well not have been the person in the film. I also suspect that the whiz kid lawyer may be an activist republican. This is just so unnecessary and such an obvious attempt to discredit those now attempting to turn this country toward a more positive focus. Everyone makes mistakes, but why single out a few private individuals. Especially those involved in helping others. HuffPo, you did not help the situation by publishing this story.

Ashley Biden's college experience story is all too familiar to those who went to college. Either you kept to yourself, party hard with your sorority sisters. Indeed my roommate liked to experiment. It didn't bothered me, nor she forced me.

Living away from home, missing my parents, high school friends - I was pretty lonely and homesick. I even missed my 5 pestering brothers I've sworn to get rid of. I longed for weekends to drive 400 miles to go home, or their visits.

One day, I realized college meant not 4.0 GPA - also meant new beginning - independence, stepping off the curb, making mistakes, loved-be loved, then love lost, heartaches . . . and hopefully, learned from them.

I studied hard. After grueling Finals, I compensated my loneliness - partying hard, getting very drunk and tipsy, throwing up and hugging the commode. I managed a less than 4.0. Still, 4 years of my life I would never change - a part of my life and what I became.

@ 27, 'am now a Statistician/Risk Mgr, bought my own home etc . . . just like many of my generation - Echo Boomers/Generation Y went on to live our lives.

I am not here to defend Ashley. But I just like my Baby Boomer Mom and Dad - she is now a Judge, and Dad is now the owner of an Engineering Firm. They went on and live a good life.

Don't be too hard on her. Life goes
