The Obamas are work horses, so get accustom to it! If she was just sitting in the White House and have tea parties, and never be seen, they would say she is lazy, so typical. Her husband is working his @ss off to fix this mess we're in, he is doing too much too. #ell, that is the reason I voted for him to get things done!

These articles are so transparent; what you really wanted to say was "Know your place and stay in it Michelle Obama". What in the world has she done to earn the title of "too ambitious"?

If it is too difficult for your tiny lonely little brain cells to report on people who are capable of doing more than one thing at a time, just stick to covering Republicans.

Isnt that a coded message that black people arent meant to do anything successful?
I mean,in the meantime,Palin can run for president while not being able to construct a single correct english sentence.
And Bush got to be President on the exact same credentials!
I suspect a lot of white men feel very uncomfortable and inadequate when considering Michelle. And here if she actually met them, she would be the soul of kindness.

What's next? Tea with Queen Elizabeth II. Is that what has Politico's nose out of joint? The the President and Mrs Obama will be the face of American leadership on official trips abroad. Don't hate. Appreciate, that this country has such an accomplished, hard-working, gracious role model for women around the world as First Lady. Since when did these attributes become a negative?

POLITICO: too cute by half and not fooling anybody
It's amazing how people will try to pull something out of thin air when they really want to criticize someone. As far as I can tell, Michelle Obama is a gracious person who has done nothing but good work in the last several months--and she's doing it all without a salary. She deserves admiration and gratitude, not cheap shots.
I agree with you one hundred percent! If First Lady Obama sat around the White House doing nothing but watching soap operas and eating bon bons she would be dragged through the mud and called lazy! Every media outlet in the world would be damning her! Here's a woman that is creative and has lots of ideas and a desire to get things done. This is who she was before coming to the White House.
I am very proud of First Lady Obama! She deserves our respect and admiration! What some of the big mouths need to do is join her in doing some community service!
I'm happy she's a strong woman and pays no attention to the voices of inconsequential idiots!
I find it somewhat amusing that the main criticism that some people have about the Obamas is that they are getting TOO MUCH accomplished. My God, they're going to give the folks in DC a bad reputation!
