"The Simpsons" Mocks The Bailouts

"The Simpsons" Mocks The Bailouts

Last night's episode of "The Simpsons" was about second weddings and bridezillas, but the opening sequence featured a chalkboard gag that mocked the bailouts. Bart wrote "My piggy bank is not entitled to TARP funds," over an over again before hearing the school bell ring and heading for home.

Bart writes a different sentence on the blackboard each week, past gags have included: "No one cares what my definition of 'is' is," "Spitwads are not free speech," "My homework was not stolen by a one-armed man," "Cursive writing does not mean what I think it does," and "I was not touched 'there' by an angel."

Watch the opening sequence and full episode here.
