Monday in New York was the annual "Dressed to Kilt" fundraiser benefiting the Friends of Scotland organization.

Taking a turn on the catwalk were Mike Myers, Andie MacDowell, Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl), Kellie Pickler (American Idol), Dario Franchitti (NASCAR driver and Indy 500 Champion), Damien Woody (New York Jets), Alex McCord (Real Housewives of New York City), Marcus Schenkenberg (model) and more.

Wonders can be done with the right length boot, rolled socks and the right shirt. You just need a good dresser.

i've got wee spindly legs, but with the socks and a right sized kilt. i think i look like i fell off a midden motor, but i wore a kilt on a pub crawl in ct. and women loved it. at the 5 places we stopped we had women come to our table. a kilt is a good way to go, especially when you run into english b@st@rds.

don't worry about the legs, its the spine that matters.

My husband is of Scottish descent. He, his best man, the presiding minister, my daughter's fiance and the wedding party all wore kilts at our wedding. We also had bagpipers.
