Jason Wu Once Again Surprised To See His Dress On Obama

Designer Jason Wu found out with the rest of the world that Michelle Obama had chosen his gown for the inaugural balls on January 20th.

Looks like he was equally surprised when she stepped off Air Force One in London on Tuesday wearing another one of his creations.

According to WWD:

Wu said the First Lady has had the chartreuse dress for a while -- it was part of a wardrobe he designed for her earlier in the year. "I had no idea she was going to wear it," Wu said.

He said he designed the dress without knowing the occasion, but felt she picked the right moment to wear it. "Yellow is such a great color, and it's nice that we are seeing spring right now," Wu said. "It's definitely very optimistic."

The dress is great, it is a great color, accented with black, and the dress is a great shaped dress as wel. It fits Michelle beautifully!

Personally what I hate to see is women always wearing black, or dark colors only, because they are obsessed with looking slim. I say to women, get some self confidence, stop worrying, and stressing so much about trying to look slim, I guarantee you that the men, you are trying so desparately to impress, are NOT, and will NEVER try that hard to impress you! I suggest to women to embrace the you that you are, and stop living your life obsesses with losing a few pounds, or with wearing dark colors just to try to look slim -- It really is all kind of pathetic!

I liked the yellow dress by Wu. It looked wonderful with her hairstyle and belt. I didn't care too much for the white inaugural dress she wore but this one was great.
