Somehow, I think all of the global bribes of the vast majority of ALL politicians was left out of this "fact"-gathering.

I have always thought that semioticians pay should be some fix multiplier on the average mean and median citizens salary, whichever is lower.

So the Mean income in the USA is about 80k, the Median is about 50k, so let's fix the presidents salary at 10x the average Americans salary. 500k.

Thus to make more money, politicians have to make more money for all Americans.

Just like what they are suggesting for executive pay tied to results.
