Thursday's Late Night Round-Up: The Queen, North Korea, And Ways We Could've Gotten Rid Of Bush (VIDEO)

Huffington Post   First Posted: 5/4/09 Updated: 5/25/11

Late Night

The big topic of conversation last night was the the first meeting between the Obamas and the Queen of England. Michelle touched her back, which is apparently a no-no, and Barack gave her an iPod, which she already had. Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Craig Ferguson all addressed the meet with the latter saying:

"No you can't touch the Queen. The Queen's like a stripper, you can look but you can't touch."

In other segments, David Letterman looked back at ways we could've gotten rid of Bush and Stephen Colbert hated on North Korea.

You guys are being too harsh. I saw Conan's first night years ago and he was akward, geeky, and uncomfortable. Fallon will grow into it. I do think his audience needs to be warmed up better. They are too quiet, even when he is funny.

Colbert and Jon Stewart are the funniest men in America, but I love most of the guys on this round up list.

Fallon is just not funny. He seems like a nervous kid who knows he's gonna get yanked soon.

Ferguson is brilliant, as always.

OMGoodness, I'm glad that someone else had a comment like this before I posted My ripping of Fallon!

Personally I think that Fallon is more then likely a good Man, however like was stated in Your comments; Fallon is a stiff (not funny at all).!!!!!!!!

Oh, wait, what's this that I read a few seconds later, look out below.......................

Jimmy F, the most important part of comedy is timing. Might want to work on yours a tad bit.

It would make "the" difference. He is too stiff and seemingly uncomfortable. Let's hope he develops his own style and not mimic others.

I agree completely. Comedy, specially late night comedy is not an acquired talent... he was given a card-blanche to f-up NBC's latenight slot. amazingly CBS has stolen it from NBC. Conan, due to it's 11:30pm slot will have to tone his jokes down... so, I don't know where that'll go...

Now, back to Jimmy Fallon, he's just dead weight until a better one comes along
