The quality of news reporting and writing at the Boston Globe has been declining for years. And it is NOT a case of their liberal bias (although there is one) --- it is simply that they insult readers by filtering the news through their own provincial lens of how the world should be -- and add injury to the insult by writing to a depth of about 1 inch.

Formerly an intellectual powerhouse, the Globe has become a kiddie paper for people who don't want to think or have their world views challenged.

Nonsense. You want grade school writing and journalism, the Boston Herald is still running.

I'd miss the Globe if it was gone (Sundays are the best). There really isn't another decent paper in town, the Herald has become a trash rag (see- inside track).
