I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) has entered another new realm of pop culture, becoming the focus of some crude lyrics in rapper Eminem's latest single.

The track, titled "We Made You," is off Eminem's latest solo album "Relapse," scheduled for release on May 19. It includes references to a range of other celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Ellen Degeneres, Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson, and Jessica Alba.

Here are Eminem's lyrics about Palin:

Well I can be as gentle and as smooth as a gentleman
Give me my venom, an inhaler, and two Xenadrine,
And I'll invite Sarah Palin out to dinner, then
Nail her. Baby, say hello to my little friend.

Below is the full song, posted by HipHopRx.com (lyrics probably NSFW):

Here's video:

Here are the complete lyrics:

Eminem's new song was released today. 3am. Completely opposite of We Made You. Eminem also twittered that he was going back to rehab. http://twitter.com/eminem. Upon further research it appears that he has checked into http://www.popsomphills.com/Welcome.html

To all the haters........

I just checked out the lyrics of this particular song and I have not been able to find the mysoginistic references anywhere. Yes he goes after certain females and is crude but that purposeful and deliberate not directed at women in general, in my opinion. I cant say this for all his songs however and I am not going to research it. There is alot of venom being directed his way and I suspect its a knee jerk reaction. If we are truly concerned about the treatment of women then its right to focus on cultural aspects that have promoted such behavior. But let us at least read the lyrics and listen to the song.

Eminem is undoubtedly talented and most of this humor is tongue in cheek, or tongue in where ever you want to put it.

I would be honored to be spoofed in an Eminem video, but I have a hunch Sarah didn't like it so much.

Honored? Are you kidding?

Eminem is the epitome of disgust.....always has been, always will be.

His video is a complete insult to Palin. Why would you think it would be an honor.....for anyone?

1. Frankly, I don't care for Palin because I am unabashedly for women's rights (acutally, I'm for human rights generally conceived); 2. This video isn't about Palin per se so much as it is a display of Eminem's general misogyny; 3. Although I like (Hillary) Clinton, a contest is a contest and no one is "entitled" to an elected position; and 4. Thus far, the guy with the Harvard law school educated wife who has a strong personality, a.k.a. Barack Obama, is doing pretty well regarding gender equality. --Madusa

I like Eminem. I have all of his CD's and I am a supporter of women's rights, gay rights and I support the freedom of an artist along with the freedom of the press. Without it, we would have nothing to say. With this video which is pretty right on with the truth of how the public has made these folks into stars, you just have to not take it so frickin seriously and have some fun with it. The video is pure genius and I think that if any of you out there in cyber space were asked to be in his next video, you would jump at it as I know that I would. Heaven knows that my tits, Oops I meant my tattoos, need some good exposure. He is a damn good talent and it's good to see him again!

Eminem has yet again shown us just how misogynistic he is. He has no respect for anybody, especially not for women, he sings about hate and violence, most of the time targetted against women. The man is one sick individual, and how anybody can pay for his whatever you call that, is beyond me. Now he is targetting Palin, and just because it's the snow queen, that makes his rubbish OK? I can't stand Palin, and will expess my contempt any time I'm given half the opportunity, but this is beyond the pale.

Raini,

Glad to see you stand up as a "Bipartisan Womanist" against this kind of disgusting muck.
It is Ok that people oppose or support a candidate according to their personal politics or whatever...

But this kind of Trash is an insult to all 'Bipartisan Womanists' and the SEXIST TROLLs need to be called out in the strongest terms possible.

I agree with you when you say....."how can anybody pay for his whatever you call it." It is insulting, violent cra p which shouldn't be used in the same sentence with the word music. (Not that you did....) Rhythm and yelling profanity is not music....or talent.

I dislike Palin also, but this is ridiculous. She is digging her own hole without any help from Eminem.

What's all the ado? Sarah Palin is not a respectable woman, hence being disrespected. Duh! She has proven without a shadow of a doubt that she is a loon, a hypocrite, and a low life! That, I suppose is why "women's" groups have not jumped to her defense. If you want to be respected, be respectable.

Stop being idiots!

Eminem does not disrepect Palin because she is Palin, he disrepects and trashes all women equally!

I respect both Hillary and Sarah.

So go unjack your ego.

It is because of this kind of sexist trashing of Women Politicians and the Feminist's Wink 'n Nod approval of sexist attacks on Women Politicians that I left the DEM Party after the 2008 election.

Some of you men and women think it funny, justified, and Ok to trash a Woman Politician in sexist no holds barred ways for political purposes? In my view anyone who does that is lower than the lowest of the low.

Thus it is for these reasons my eyes were opened about the party I was a member of and certain people I thought valued women as human beings deserving respect as such.

THAT BEHAVIOR DISGUSTS ME AND PEOPLE DO THAT TO WOMEN DISGUSTS ME BEYOND WORDS TO EXPRESS IT... ESPECIALLY THE HYPOCRITICAL SO-CALLED FEMINISTS.

Thus... I now oppose the DEM Party as strongly as I possibly can starting with Barack Obama and every other DEM politician in the country. It is forever...

As a woman, feel betrayed personally ....stabbed in the back by this kind of Vulgar Sexist treatment of Women Politicians by the snake pit called the Democrat Political Party.

As a result, I now I blog daily against all DEM Politicians and primarily and particularly PARTICULARLY against Obama and his crew of thugs.

No quarter given.

President Obama didn't write that song. President Obama has healthy and respectful relationships with his wife and daughter. President Obama appointed Hillary Clinton to be Secretary of State. I don't see why your wrath should be directed so squarely toward President Obama and the Democratice Party.

Our world is definitely going downhill. God help us all. Why is there no outrage over this by the woman's rights groups?

99.9% of the womens groups out there are hypocrites. Do you remember when Bill O'Reilly imitated Helen Thomas in a witch voice? He was slammed for several weeks. All he did was imitate a witch, he didn't act like he was sleeping with her or treat her in a cruel and vile way, just imitated a witch voice. Womens groups will never ever say one word about this because Sarah Palin is a conservative. Womens groups today are not feminists in the true sense of the word, if they were they would stand up for womens rights regardless of politics. However, todays "womens groups" are simply hate mongerers who crucify anyone who doesn't agree with them. Groups like Media Matters have become a joke and totally irrelevant.

As a hip hop afficianado, I have to say this was LAME! Seriously Em needs to step into 2009. I dislike Palin as much as the next person, but this wasn't creative at all. The lyrics, the beat, the chorus...it all stunk to high heaven. He does this every time he releases an album. It's getting old.

I wonder what would have happened had the singer chosen to mock Mrs. Obama instead of Mrs. Palin. Would you folks still find the video to be cool? Or would there have been outrage? I actually believe that this video is in bad taste and frankly would have thought so whether its Palin or Obama.

Comparing Mrs.Obama to Gov. Palin is like comparing Night and Day, Water and Oil, Custer and Sitting Bull. But I wish the rapper would have respected Palin and women in general

I'm sorry, but Michelle has absolutely nothing on Gov. Palin - I think your comparisons may show intolerance.
