The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I feel pretty confident that if the fbi doesn't cover up the attempted bribe to purchase the senator's seat he will found guilty. But is seems that everytime the FBI has to investigate a politician or judge or some other so called outstanding citizen they seem to be able to either mess up the investigation, or never really carry forward very hard. The FBI seems to be to have become a sort of second class operation not really accomplishing anything worth while for the amount of money that has to be pumped into it.

Jesse Jackson Jr. and his famous adulterous father, who has bled the poor black people for his living all these years aren't anyone i'd want to have in charge of a dog pound.

If this would have been an (R) it would have rated a supersized headline. Here, it is relegated to outerspace.

It appears that Jackson Jr. has been a good representative for his district, I concur with some of the other bloggers and hope that he is not guilty. How come crooks like Coleman and Stevens are walking around free?

and what crime is Norm Coleman guilty of????

I live in Chicago. Don't doubt for a minute that Jessie Jr is guilty of everything he is accused of. AG Fitzgerald would have had all the proof against Jessie Jr that he needed except for one thing: The Chicago Trib had the story and they weren't going to hold it up any longer. AG Fitzgerald was forced to come public with the Blago situation before he wanted to. The question is: did he get enough against Jessie to send him away?? Don't think Obama wasn't aware as well. His choice for the Senate seat was Valerie Jarrert. It was amazing how quickly they distanced themselves from Obama's Senate seat when whispers of Blago being indicted beagn to surface. BTW, i am NOT implicating Obama on any of this, just Jessie Jr.

Jackson had some connection with Fannie Mae under Bush also. If he was connected any way to Bush in financial wheelings and dealings, I wouldn't put anything past him. It's all about the benjamins with the Bush group.

and just what were Bush's financial wheelings and dealings???? Specifics please.

Jesse Jackson JR- I have a question about Leo Wise the CBO investigating this.

Funny-. Leo Wise, who heads the Office of Congressional Ethics, told the AP he could "not confirm or deny that we are reviewing the materials" the Sun-Times referred to.

Reached at his home in suburban Maryland, Wise said the office has not released any documents concerning an investigation of Jackson.

Leo Wise- He was fed prosecutor that jurors said did not do his job.

I think the AG needs to investigate him and his cover-up.

I find it very peculiar that case with one acquittal, James K Happ-where the fed prosecutor Leo Wise did not do his job per the jurors-

Oh that one acquittal was -the ex-CFO of Columbia Homecare Group and juror says, instead, they were more a belief that federal prosecutors had not done their job…

Leo Wise- Hmm…..In 2002-The largest private financial fraud case in our country's history began to uncover itself back in 2002 when FBI raided their offices.

No one heard of this case. Wonder why? Leo Wise did not do his job – jurors said.

December 18, 2008 - THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH By Jodi Andes --Prosecutors' case fell short, juror says, instead, they were more a belief that federal prosecutors had not done their job…

One acquittal- the ex-CFO of Columbia Homecare Group-

Federal prosecutor-Leo Wise did not do his job…

I believe he will weather this storm. I feel sorry for him. First his dad gets caught with an open mic and embarasses the cr@p out of him, then this.

Stay tough Jesse, and stay away from Blago types and sex merchants!

Something seemed fishy back in the day. First of all, we're talking Chicago style politics and second, Blago couldn't have done anything just by himself.

No surprise here! Just waiting for Fitzgerald to bring down all of them!

No one should pre-judge Jackson. That said, it's a good day for American democracy when the Congress investigates Jackson, without fear or favor. It's a good day for black America when a black man is being held to the same ethical standards as Blago himself. We need color-blind justice in this country facing both ways. And we need for the Black Community to be color-blind about justice, too, and demand the same standards of integrity for blacks the whole society should demand of whites and blacks alike. The election of Obama has facilitated a better day in the quest for King's dream of judging people 100% by the content of their character, neither disdaining nor favoring people for the color of their skin, but treating them all by the same standards.

Just curious....and what of Bobby Rush's insistance on a black candidate replacing Obama just because he is black?? How does this fit in with Dr. King's dream of judging someone on their character and not their color?? Was this racist?? Somehow, Bobby Rush got a pass on this one....but he's awfully quiet now. Nice choice Bobby.
