Well, considering Israeli government officials aren't even making the Palestinian issue a priority anymore, let alone negotiations for Gilad Schalit, this is not really unexpected. I feel sorry for the man but his son is a POW. And if he's still alive (and by all accounts he is) then he's getting more fair treatment than a lot of Palestinians get at the hands of Israelis.

gee what a surprise..­..NOT! Hamas has a chance to get a ton of positive press by releasing this soldier it illegally kidnapped.­..but is too dense to realize that fact!! Nothing new here!

Illegally kidnapped? LOL. The kid is a prisoner of war, a war long ago declared by Israel against the Palestinians in general and Hamas in particular.
