Jindal wants out of the governor's mansion because he actually has to, you know, govern! He is directly responsible for the welfare of the people which means providing education and food and roads, etc.

When you're in Congress you can just make speeches about cutting taxes and opposing Obama. That's a lot easier than keeping the lights on in the state!

Wasn't that Palin's argument against Obama...that he hadn't been in any position in which he had to make decisions and be responsible for anything? I'm surprised you brought that up.

I don't follow your logic. Jindal has been in that position. He's made decisions and he's been bad at it because reality trumps ideology. You can't tell starving people that you're going to refuse food for them TODAY to avoid a deficit five years from now.

But keep on defending Palin. She needs it.

Palin's argument against Obama: he has never run anything so we shouldn't elect him president

My argument against Jindal: he has run something and found he couldn't handle it because governing is harder than spouting ridiculous ideology. Apparently Jindal agrees since he would prefer to be 1 of 100 than his own boss.

I don't disagree with you when you say that Jindal has no appetite for actually governing. However, the idea that making speeches is "easy" for him, well, we've all seen proof that isn't true when it comes to Piyush Jindal.
