Fergie's White House Easter Performance Gets Funky (VIDEO)

Black Eyed Peas frontlady Fergie performed several songs on the White House lawn on Monday.

Video of her national anthem performance is below (she sang it on the White House balcony with the Obama family standing beside her), and here's a pool report by Hailey Branson of the Houston Chronicle:

Mrs. Obama and her mother, as well as Sasha, Malia and their friends went to a music stage set up on the South Lawn to watch a performance by Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie. They were in the front of the crowd, near the stage.

Fergie sang an opening song with the lyrics "get ready." Unfortunately, your pooler did not know the name of the song.

Fergie was wearing a short, layered white dress and a lime-green top, as well as white gloves. She was twirling a gold staff.

Her dancers were decked out in pastels. The men wore baby blue cardigans with large white buttons and purple and white striped shirts underneath. The women wore pale purple dresses with light blue sweater covers.

Fergie sang her own "Clumsy," which she introduced as a song from her high school days when she fell in love with "all the wrong boys."

As she was introducing "Big Girls Don't Cry," Fergie thanked her "new friends the Obamas" and said she was excited to be performing "tonight." It was about 11:30 a.m.

Fergie said she put on her "little girlie dress" for Easter, then dove into her song "Glamorous." She sang an edited version. Her song has the line, "If you ain't got no money, take your broke a** home." She left out the curse word, but some in the crowd filled it in for her.

After that song, she asked who in the crowd had eaten chocolate for Easter. She said they need more than chocolate. They need something "Fergalicious." That was her final song.
