The American people have been conned again. American citizens are not under any obligation to pay federal income taxes. Why should we pay taxes when the Federal Reserve prints money at will? Think about it. There is going to be a live program on the Internet that will include many that have have taken the case to federal court and have won. Why? Try and find a copy of the law that states you must pay federal income taxes. You won't find any such thing. Contact the IRS and tell them to send you a copy of the law. You won't get it because there is none.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but there IS a law, known as the 16th Amendment to the US Constitution. I'm not arguing for or against an income tax (personally I think only the uber-rich should pay ANY income tax). But don't use flawed information to fight a battle you can't win.

Yes. So did John McCain and Sarah PaIin.

Why did Republicans nominate them to run their party?

It's probably because an !diot like yourself believe that they were convicted of a crime.

"Tax cheat" does not necessarily equal "convicted".

And, the name-calling in the case of your post definitely involves pot kettle.

They didn't forget to pay their taxes, they paid taxes, they just didn't pay the correct amount.

When I got that plasma TV, I paid for it, just not the right amount. It wasn't a crime, really. I was happy to pay the remaining $1100 as soon as the media got ahold of the story.

They took care of their taxes before they got into any kind of trouble. The difference is those people didn't come forward and fix their tax situation on their own. They both fixed their own problems before the authorities had to come after them.

Eliminate income taxes for 99.5% of the population. Raise taxes for .5% to 90% as they were under Eisenhower administration. Whatever the shortfall in taxes is make it up in wealth and consumption taxes.

I am glad I don't think like you. I've always assume that I must care for myself and never felt it was moral to steal from others. Because of this, I worked hard while others smoked pot and waited for someone to give them a life. Now I am successful while the Obamanoids are looking for more people's money to steal.

And I am glad I don't think like you. ;-)

A self-made man and proud of it. And you probably think you owe nothing to anybody. You probably identify with the .5 of the income earners, the kleptocracy but you are probably much close to the poorest among us than you will ever be to the richest crooks.

I think it is immoral to tax man's labor. That is why we needed a constitutional amendment to have income tax. You cannot possible tell me that .5% of the population actually labor for their income, can you? We would still pay taxes but not on our labor. 90% is what was under Eisenhower, not exactly a socialist pinko commie.

fox news lie of the day:

We did not sponsor the tea parties, only covering them.

They advertised all month.

That is sponsoring silly.

I am sure the libertarians would have been much happier without the coverage from FOX. Originally, this was suppossed to not be about how much we are taxed, but how the tax is spent. Then the neo-cons jumped on the bandwagon; somebody should have kicked them off.

Is it likely that the right is steaming mad about the increase taxes on their staples like: cigarettes and alcohol.

I mean everyone knows you don't get between a drunk and his bottle!

None of them has been convicted of tax evasion, which is the subject of the story.

Too bad it's so far above your level of comprehension.

Nope.

The article is about people who intentionally evaded taxes.

It isn't about people who made mistakes and corrected them, as the law requires.

I know it's difficult for you, but do try to keep up.

FOX is already making excuses... nobody's going to the teabag rallies... ;-D

Poor weather and permit problems are threatening to put a damper on the kick-off to anti-tax "tea party" protests Wednesday.

One million tea bags delivered to a Washington, D.C., park were reloaded and sent away because tea party organizers did not have the proper permit.

The massive shipment of tea to Lafayette Park was meant to be the start of a day of protests expected across the country by people fed up with high taxes and excess spending.

But the tea was reloaded back onto a truck and sent away, protest organizer Rebecca Wales told FOX News."

Are you seriously not aware of this?
