I guarantee that the cocoa leaves were not off the menu during the five days he was on strike! Still, a brave move - go Evo.
Don't put the man down there is alot of real suffering in this world. This man is trying to make a difference.
Does 5 days really count as a "hunger strike?" More like Evo Morales ends 5 day crash diet. (Probably so he can squeeze back into his "skinny jeans," lol.)
He made his point. Got what he believes is best for Bolivia.
It's nice to see your comment here is as irrelevant as your politics. Keep up the good work ....
Lighten up, Francis... I wasn't commenting on his good works but rather the ridiculousness of calling five days a "hunger strike." It' nice to see YOUR comment is as unimaginatively dull as your sense of humor. Keep up the dour work...
The hunger strike ended in 5 days because he got what he wanted. Had he not gotten it, he would have continued.
