Dominos Disgusting Youtube Video

Domino's is launching a PR blitz to combat the disgusting YouTube video of rogue employees spitting in food, putting cheese in their nose and wiping their nether regions with a dish washing sponge.
Patrick Doyle, president of Domino's USA, has taken to YouTube to apologize for the incident and thank the online community for alerting the company to the problem.

"We sincerely apologize for this incident," Mr. Doyle said. "We thank members of the online community who quickly alerted us and allowed us to take immediate action. Although the individuals in question claim it's a hoax, we are taking this incredibly seriously."

The store in Hanover, N.C. where the videos were created has been shut down and is being sanitized. Doyle also said the company is reviewing its hiring practices "to make sure that people like this don't make it into our stores."

Part of the problem today is people don't understand hygiene/cleanliness/food safety.
I worked in a grocery store and I can NOT tell you how many times I had to tell people they could NOT bring their pet into the store. They always were shocked and said "WHY NOT!"
That's not just young folks either. As a customer I've had to get a store employee and tell them that some old lady is pushing her dog/cat around in a grocery cart around the store shopping.
I RARELY eat food that that is NOT prepared by me. I only eat out when I can not avoid it. IE: someone insists on taking me out to eat because they think they are doing me a favor.

Is he going to start paying a living wage? Is he going to start paying for proper and responsible supervision? I doubt it, so just apoligize away. It's all for naught. Within a few weeks, these kind of employees could do this again.

Whaddya mean "be realistic"? Of the 125,000 employees of this shoddy pizza joint do you not think that there are more like these two cretins - right NOW - RIGHT NOW boogering up Domino's food and thinking it's cute?? What Domino's NEEDS to do is perform a thorough background check on each current employee (that way they won't be hiring child molesters) AND place cameras in the food prep area with the franchise owner required to review the previous days tape. At a minimum it will have a deterent value .............. what's that ........ too tedious?? Well then you won't mind a little extra "fromunda" cheese will you?

I would have sympathy but, Patrick Doyle gives lots of money to right wingnut causes and i am LMAO at his predicament . I quit eating Domino's several years ago when they went to a cheaper tomato sauce.

Domino's responded appropriately and quickly. I give them their props, especially considering that this could have happened with any chain restaurant--it doesn't have anything to do with Domino's on a systematic level.

makes you feel bad for the thousands of people who work for this company, this is the type of thing that can really destroy a fast food chain and its all the doing of a few kids acting like rude punks

So it might be alright to eat their pizza again--but remember if you do that you are giving money to them to support this:

Published April 2008

DETROIT, MI (EP) – The owner of Domino’s Pizza donated $50,000 to Operation Rescue, the pro-life direct action group which stages massive sit-in protests at abortion clinics, often closing them for hours at a time. Domino’s Pizza owner Tom Monaghan, who also owns the Detroit Tigers, has been speaking out against abortion in recent years.

Church opens door for domino's cult connection

Domino's founders closely tied to anti-women causes.

"Thomas Monaghan is founder of Domino's, the biggest home delivery pizza chain in the world. He's also a regular guest of the Vatican, founder of a controversial Catholic businessmen's group linked to an authoritarian cult, financial backer of the anti-abortion group Operation Rescue, and a supporter of anti-left counterinsurgencies in the Third World."

"The Naples Daily News profiles Tom Monaghan, the founder of Dominos Pizza and ultra-right-wing Catholic activist behind the Thomas More Law Center and Ave Maria University who even built his own town where he could implement his hardcore beliefs.

Though he is not particularly well-known, Monaghan is a right-wing powerbroker and moneyman who early-on backed Sam Brownback. He has since gone on to endorse Romney and ultimately McCain, but this election cycle has focused primarily on financing the state races of candidates who share his right-wing views: "

This is what schools are turning out. Don't blame Domino's. That's punishing the wrong party. These kids who have never been stopped are everywhere. They should go straight to jail. That will stop others like them. It will send them the message that society won't take it.

As i read this comment thread, i can't help but notice the google ad at the bottom of each page is "Find Dominos Pizza". I don't think so.
