Let me get this straight. Fatah members who are a part of Hezbollah. That doesn't make sense. Fatah are rivals with Hamas and Hamas are allies with Hezbollah. Fatah and Hezbollah are supposedly against each other.

According to the report, Egyptian officials began interrogating the Palestinian detainees on Tuesday.

This story is crap. Even if these men are who the story says they are, their statements obtained by torture are meaningless.

It is nice how we are shielded from the real events that European news media pours out daily.

The plot was denounced by the Egyptian opposition en mass as a fabrication. Israel claimed that it started it, along with the US. The aim is to prevent Hizbullah from winning a majority in the Lebanese elections to be held early in June.

In the meantime, Lebanese and others are saluting Hizbullah for trying to smuggle weapons to the group controlling Hamas - which is the charge leveled at the 'terrorists.'

But it should be alright. After all Egypt was one of the 'rendition' destinations. In fact warrants for arrest of some of its notables is out in Italy. They will try to extract 'true' and 'honest' confessions, although by the looks of it, it seems so far very difficult and almost comical from news reports.
