Nevada Unemployment Is 10.4%, Highest Since 1983

Nevada's jobless rate surged nearly half a percentage point from February to March, rising from an adjusted 10 percent to 10.4 percent. That's the highest unemployment rate since March 1983, and it's nearly 2 percentage points higher than a national rate of 8.5 percent.
