Jay Leno took on the legal profession this week, praising the economic downturn for putting lawyers out on the street. Jimmy Fallon, on the other hand, mocked the scientific community, saying:

"Scientists in Iran have successfully cloned a goat. Great job, scientists. Hey, by the way, AIDS still exists."

Actually, Mark Steyn is funnier than all of the above combined. Problem is, his humor is way too far over the heads of the typical jobless liberal who can stay up to all hours watching suck-up (and sucky) "comedians" on late-night TV.

I thought Fallon's joke was alright. He's at least as funny as Conan, who was a lot weaker than Fallon when he started out.

Conan and Letterman do a lot more stalling (aimless banter with bandleaders, etc. etc.) than actual jokes.

It's one of those things Jimmy does where he takes the first letter and blanks it to let your dirty mind fill in the wrong blank. The probability is the kid said "Fighting". or even "Flying".

If you ever watch his show he does that a lot with a segment called "unnecessary censorship" where it SOUNDS like they are cussing but aren't by putting a BLEEP where the word would be.
