There's a reason that James Franco is squinting in almost every picture you see (and I see many). Seth Rogen is stoned in every movie that you see, so he's on this list as a representative for Team Apatow (which is its own particular subset of stoner).

When will we become serious about legalization? Another government program to regulate our private lives. Yet, few politicians are willing to make the stand for freedom. Thank heavens for the few, the proud like Ron Paul. Give him much more credit for being a politician that will take a stand. Where are the others that believe in individual freedom?

I apreciate that Ron Paul actually is one of the most honest men in politics. I do respect him for that.

But individual freedoms, especially of businesses, HAVE to be checked, whether you like it or not, or we'd all be drinking asbestos filled water and living in lead painted houses.

As they say, your right to throw a fist ends as soon as that fist meets my face. The Ayn Randian objectivist ideal simply is not realistic, because in this ideology, human actions have absolutely no consequences so long as the perpetrator of those actions is acting according to his own sense of free will.

People can't just do whatever they want whenever they want. I may want weed legalized, I don't want it to be legal to smoke meth while driving with a baby in your lap.

Yeah, Ron Paul believes in individual freedom. He also believes in throwing out the social safety net and essentially shrinking the government beyond Grover Norquist's dreams.

James Franco doesn't actually count. He's a pretty open guy and has stated that doesn't smoke pot. I mean he could be lying but there really is no reason for him to lie about it. Just because someone played a stoner in a movie doesn't make them a stoner in real life.

Ron Paul? Seriously? I find it depressing that people would consider voting for Paul just because he's in favour of legalization. Sure, he'd be more destructive to government than the Republicans in their wildest dreams, but at least pot would be legal.

No, government that gives you (hopefully, one day) health care, social security, and regulations on the environment and financial dealings. If you want to imagine how the current problems in the US could be worse, by all means support Ron Paul. But, hey, at least pot would be legal.

No, good government that provides things like social security, medicare, and environmental and financial regulation. Ron Paul wants to, like Grover Norquist, shrink government down to the point where it can be drowned in a tub. The libertarian point of view is like the Republicans on steroids.
