Former Vice President Dick Cheney slammed President Obama again on Monday night during an interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity at Cheney's home in McLean, Virginia.

Cheney pointedly questioned the president's leadership, criticized Obama's overseas trips as "disturbing," said his handshake with Venezuela's Hugo Chavez was "not helpful," and strongly disagreed with the release of the torture memos.

"I've been concerned at the way we've been presented overseas... What I find disturbing is the extent to which he's gone to Europe and seemed to apologize profusely, been to Mexico and seemed to apologize there," said Cheney. "The world out there, both our friends and foes, will be quick to take advantage of that... I don't think we have much to apologize for."

Watch the interview:

Describing the Bush administration's policy as to "ignore" Chavez, Cheney said that Obama's handshake was "not helpful... You have people all across South America who are watching how we respond." He added, "The president needs to provide leadership... needs to distinguish between good [guys] and bad guys."

Finally, Cheney defended the use of waterboarding and other interrogation techniques, saying, "It worked. It's been enormously valuable in terms of saving lives and preventing another mass casualty attack on the US."

Cheney formally asked that the Obama administration to release what he claimed are memos that demonstrated the success of those techniques.

"One of the things that I find a little bit disturbing about this recent disclosure is they put out the legal memos, the memos that the CIA got from the Office of Legal Counsel, but they didn't put out the memos that showed the success of the effort," Cheney said.

While former President Bush and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice have withheld comment on the new administration, Cheney has been outspoken in his criticism.

In his first TV interview last month with CNN's John King, Cheney said that Obama's policies had raised the risk of a domestic terrorist attack.

And the criticism doesn't seem to bother the president - during a February rally in Austin, Texas, Obama dismissed the former vice president, saying "When Dick Cheney says it's a good thing, you know that you've probably got some big problems."

The desperation of the illuminati is a thing of beauty. Is there a more pathetic site than this guy trying to be taken seriously while he dribbles his neurotic insanity?

Well, Cheney is like a pitbull - or like a child who thinks if he yells loud enough, his parents will think he's right.

Ninety-one days into the Obama Administration and Cheney is delirious because Obama has not bombed or invaded a foreign country or attempted to prop- or set-up a puppet regime like Reagan. On September 11, 2001—8 months into the Bush Administration—foreign terrorists attacked America. No attack on American soil occurred during the Clinton Administration. So, what was President Bush doing between 1/20/01 and 9/11/01 to protect America? The verifiable intelligence pasted on by Clinton was ignored and we got hit. Cheney: It's impossible to kill our way out of the global mess you and Bush left us in.

With regard to Obama’s trips aboard and the flack his has received, does anyone remember the Iran-Contra debacle orchestrated by Reagan? Under Reagan, America sold sophisticated weaponry to Iran (Bush 41 later pardoned the key violators). Also, does anyone remember the huge across-the-board budget cuts instituted by Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney under Bush 41? Isn’t it odd that Cheney got deferments and dodged service in Vietnam. I also find it odd that an overwhelming majority of current US Senators and Representatives born between 1943 and 1952 got deferments and dodged service in Vietnam. Why is it that those who have never walked a post in defense of this nation are always so eager to send someone else’s child off to die on foreign soil?

This morning on MSNBC Nora was asking "what happened between the weekend when Obama said he would not prosecute anyone, to Tuesday when he said he would not stop the AG from seeking an investigation and prosecutions?".

What happened to change President Obama's mind?
Cheney went on FOX News to attack Obama about the "Torture Memos" released and to state that "Torture works".

The toxic death-merchant resorts to the square-jawed, grizzled and world-wise college radio veteran and posing hack, Hannity, to pitch him softballs so he can once again do his little devil dance for an adoring audience of the dull-normal.

Blame the Energizer Bunny.

i am a bit confused here as to who are the bad guys.
Chavez democratically won the election in his country believe it or not; W totally steals the election, make us believe that terrorism was born and bread in Iraq, invade the country, spent all our tax $$$ for their corporate friends and affiliations to try to steal the iraqi oil, terrorizing the iraqi population with the mercenaries guarding other accomplices inside the iraqi government while our sons, husbands, wives in our forces are dying to fill Dick's pockets.
This is what is wrong with this country being manipulated by bandits in the Bush administration responsible of all this mess and still trying to make us live in fear, paranoid of our neighbors, divided us into colors.
Sorry the world cannot continue to live in fear you create it, there was much love in this country before the Bush administration, now we have add muslims on top of our long hate list. The problem is that the joke is on us because we have become paranoid, secluded and hated abroad for our arrogance and one view of democracy without considering the other people's cultures.
You know, if it takes a community leader to prevent this country from falling off the cliff when he took office, making other countries like America again, then more power to him.

Dick, you are the bad guy, if you don't know it yet.

You know it, I know it and many others -including Obama- know it too; which is all we need, for now.

Cheney: Enjoy the freedom you tried to take away from us for now; but understand that sooner or later you will be handed the bill.

The ONLY reason the Repiglicans hate Chavez is because he kicked the big oil companies out of his country!

If Cheney says something is not helpful, what does he mean?

Does it make it harder for him to walk his dog?

Does it make it harder for him to appear on right-wing talk shows?

Does it make it harder for him to cash his dividend checks?

Does it make it harder for him to practice good heart health?

Sorry, but these are the only things Cheney should be doing anymore. No one is asking for his help running the country. We've been there, done that and we've got years worth of messes yo clean up.

He's no longer vice president, he's no longer a congressman, any of those things. All he is anymore is Mister Cheney. Or if you don't want to be respectful, he's "Hey bub!"

This is tthe man that beleives Nixon was given a raw deal. It is no surprise his support for crimminal behaviour continues to this day. To think that this man had such power.
Someone explain to me how the Bush administration can take credit for keeping the rare occurence of a Terrorist attack on the U.S. a rare occurence. Rememebr we were hit before at the same location eight years before. How many times have we heard the Clinton Administration crowing about how we were'nt attacked again on thier watch? This is thier definition of success?
Let me telll you how I have kept us from getting hit by a meteor the last 47 years.

Cheney is a sad little old man who acts like a jealous high school girl who just can't get over the fact that he isn't one of the "in " group. He will do or say anything to be noticed. He is pathetic and has total disregard for our country. He has no clue about integrity

The biggest tradgedy of all this is not whether the terrorist attacked us again after 9-11, but that we became a country run by criminals and men who have no respect for our laws and our liberties. Bush and Cheney damaged this country more than any group of terrorist could ever do with another attack.

you wouldn't be saying that if you were a victim of terrorism
