The UN needs to give a strongly worded condemnation right away.

the un commission on racism chose to slam israel & the usa at the expense of ethnic cleansing around the globe. here's another example of race issues that have nothing to do with the un shaking down the usa for more money.

It's not really a race issue. Just a quasi-religious gang/cult that uses violence and murder to extort money and terrorize the populace.

It will be about five minutes before President Obama gets blamed for this. In fact, I guarantee that he already has been blamed for this on some right-wing blogs, as he has been blamed for sectarian violence in Kenya in the past.

Sigh.

Prior to this I have read stories about the justice system in Kenya and much of the third World and it's inadequacy.

it would appear that when the state cannot provide a system for determining justice people will take that power into their own hands.

Yet another warning to Bush/Cheney and the authoritarians who want to do away with the American justice system..

if you claim anyone is above the law the law doesn't work. And you may be held accountable. One way or another.
