I want the soldiers covered under Medicare or the VA, whichever is readily available, the idea that they come home and commit suicide is a TRAGEDY OF WAR...same with the home less vets and the AGENT ORANGE and GULF WAR SYNDROME... We need to STOP CANNIBALIZING our own people. We are devouring their lives of health and comfort.
Those issues like bench marks for Afghanistan, aren't left-wing or progressive issues.

I think they had better start doing something progressive if they want to win another election,following the laws of the Constitution would be a nice starter. The same ol same ol response to the failed War on drugs is not gonna get it any longer either!!! How can anything change when your response to the problems today are the same as the last 4 POTUS???

Have we ever had a law in this country that allows a judge to determine what the value of a mortgage loan should be?This is a little disturbing. I could agree with the judge changing the terms or interest rates, but the principle. Where is the personal responsibility?
These people gave mortgage loans without ever appraising the property, then sold these bogus loans in bundles, all over the world! That's not the homeowner/buyers fault, why should they be stuck paying for some financiers' greed, and deception?
It happens all the time in Bankruptcy court.

Yes where is the personal responsibility? When was the last time you GAVE A BLANK CHECK to somebody or an overpriced asset?... and are you an educated and sophisticated banker who takes home 150 to 250 grand per year for pimping these mortgages?
