Way go Norm, keept up the good work.
of course he needs more time. These Republicans have to enter Bizarro World in order to figure out how in the world "equal protection" which they have been against is now going to be their defense.
Equal rights for Norm! Quit discriminating, MN! Priviledged rich white men have rights, too! Don't these election judges realize that their is a long precedent of disenfranchising minorities that is not being followed. I'm sure Justice Page is going to love these arguments.
How long will the GOP, use Minnesota's vacant Senate seat, to stall the new administration's agenda? Setting the country back on track, after 30+ years of "REAGONOMICS", is more important than Coleman's lost election; however, the GOP can't see it.
Norm's legacy will be helping the GOP slow down the Obama agenda during a period of drastically needed change. The GOP wants to go back to somewhere in the past, but its a whole new century now. They're never going to catch up, but the USA needs to get moving and fast.
Can't someone expedite this process and help Norm exhaust his options sooner? Or else say enough is enough and seat Franken now? Are there too many GOPers pulling strings and propping up Coleman or are the Democrats being too nice again? Or both?
Coleman is making a fool and a mockery out of the voters of MN, the courts, and the process.
Who can stop this guy from going on... and on
this guy is a bad loser ... he can't accept it.
What did we expect? GOP = obstruction
Off topic, but a must read about their tactics
WASHINGTON – The head of the Republican Party called on President Barack Obama to withdraw Kathleen Sebelius' nomination as health secretary unless she answers more questions on abortion. Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele said Thursday that Sebelius, the Democratic governor of Kansas, has not been forthcoming about her ties to a Kansas abortion doctor, George Tiller.
"Significant questions remain about Gov. Kathleen Sebelius' evolving relationship with a late-term abortion doctor as well as about her position on the practice of late-term abortions," Steele said in a statement. "If Gov. Sebelius and the Obama administration are unwilling to answer these questions, President Obama should withdraw her nomination."
"This is nothing more than a baseless attack from someone desperate to stake a claim as the leader of the leaderless Republicans and get right with the right-wing of his party," said Reid spokesman Jim Manley.
Steele's statement came as Republicans blocked immediate action on Sebelius' confirmation in the Senate, likely pushing a final vote to next week at earliest. Supporters had hoped for faster action, but Democrats remain confident they have enough votes to get Sebelius confirmed.
The answer is NO. No extension of time to obstruct the orderly congressional seating of Sen. Al Franken.
Make yourself useful and allow yourself to become engaged in the harvesting of fruit flies from animal carcases in the Carpathian mountains, Norm. It suits you.
Mr. Coleman is beyond conceding gracefully, obviously. I do wish he would just go away. The people of Minnesota are being disenfranchised by his antics in the most disgraceful way.
Please make this regurgitation disappear from the scene!
Hey Minnesota, how's that working out for you?
SEAT SENATOR FRANKEN NOW and end this circus.
What a horrific show Coleman is putting on. When this is over, and it WILL end with Franken seated in the Senate, Coleman won't be able to show his face ever again or ever considering running for anything, including dog catcher. And anyway, I think he's going to be indicted for funneling campaign money into his wife's bank account.
